Here are 12 ways to fight the dreaded mid-day slump...
- GET UP AND MOVE: Sometimes it's just as simple as getting the blood flowing to refocus and recharge.
- DRINK A LITTLE WATER: Dehydration can cause fatigue, so make sure to swig some H2O.
- GET YOUR SNACK ON: Snacks high in protein and carbs such as nuts, seeds, cheese, and whole grain crackers can help give you a boost.
- AVOID HEAVY LUNCHES: A heavy lunch (especially one that is carb heavy) could be making you sleepy.
- CUT DOWN ON SCREEN TIME: Looking at a screen for too long can cause eye strain which could result in fatigue.
- LISTEN TO SOME TUNES: Music is energizing, so try listening to your favorite music.
- TAKE A POWER NAP: Put on your SleepPhones® headphones and take that nap your body needs.
- GET MORE SLEEP: Recommended sleep time for adults is between 7-9 hours, so try your best to get that much.
- STEP OUTSIDE: Simply stepping outside on a sunny day could improve your mood and increase brain function.

- AVOID SUGARY FOODS: Sugar is a short-term energy source and could possibly cause you to crash later on.
